How to make Kapampangan Longganisa Salad

Kapampangang Longganisa Salad is a traditional mixed green salad with Longganisa (Philippine Pork Sausage or Philippine chorizo).<

Ingredients:

  1. Kapampangang Longganisa (Philippine Pork Sausage)
  2. Onion
  3. Cucumber
  4. Lettuce
  5. Cherry Tomatoes
  6. Vinaigrette
  7. Alfalfa Sprout
  8. Kesong Puti


Ingredients for vinaigrette:

  1. White Vinegar
  2. Corn Oil
  3. Garlic
  4. Green onions
  5. Pepper
  6. Salt

Procedure:

  • Step 1: Chop the Kapampangang longganisa and sauté it.
  • Step 2: Chop the onion, cucumber, cherry tomatoes and kesong puti.  Put the lettuce and the veggies in a bowl.
  • Step 3: Prepare the vinaigrette.  Chop the garlic and put it in a bowl. Add the white vinegar. Put pepper and chopped green onions. Add oil while mixing until it blends in. Season with salt.
  • Step 4: Toss the onion, cucumber, cherry tomatoes and lettuce with the vinaigrette.
  • Step 5: Plate and top with Kapampangang longganisa, alfalfa sprout and kesong puti.
