
Kapampangang Longganisa Salad is a traditional mixed green salad with Longganisa (Philippine Pork Sausage or Philippine chorizo).
Ingredients:
- Kapampangang Longganisa (Philippine Pork Sausage)
- Onion
- Cucumber
- Lettuce
- Cherry Tomatoes
- Vinaigrette
- Alfalfa Sprout
- Kesong Puti
Ingredients for vinaigrette:
- White Vinegar
- Corn Oil
- Garlic
- Green onions
- Pepper
- Salt
Procedure:
Chop the Kapampangang longganisa and sauté it.
Chop the onion, cucumber, cherry tomatoes and kesong puti. Put the lettuce and the veggies in a bowl.
Prepare the vinaigrette. Chop the garlic and put it in a bowl. Add the white vinegar. Put pepper and chopped green onions. Add oil while mixing until it blends in. Season with salt.
Toss the onion, cucumber, cherry tomatoes and lettuce with the vinaigrette.
Plate and top with Kapampangang longganisa, alfalfa sprout and kesong puti.
